Are porcelain floor tiles slippery?

Matt-finish and textured porcelain tiles have a high slip-resistance rating (R10–R11) and are not slippery in normal conditions. Polished or glossy tiles can be slippery when wet — we recommend matt or lappato finishes for floors.
